Third evening viewing of PANSTARRS was better, though still not visible to me with the naked eye…
Second night’s viewing of Comet PANSTARRS… and, to be honest, I was a little disappointed from the first night’s showing. I hope we get a better night or two out of this little comet!
First night’s viewing of Comet PANSTARRS - tough to near-impossible to see with the naked eye, but a 1-2 second exposure on the camera was perfect… can’t wait for the next few nights’ worth!
Jupiter and the Moon - a close encounter! :)
Given I had the camera almost straight up on the tripod - and this particular lens was not made to hold its position that long in a near-vertical extension, this isn’t too bad… It could’ve been crisper, etc, but it gets the point across. ;)
